Vintage (70's) Mens Raleigh Super Course racing bike/ 1 owner, works perfectly.
I bought this ten speed bike as a teenager in the mid 70's and have had it ever since (do the math). It has been hanging from my garage ceiling and hasn't been ridden in at least 20 years.
Frame is constructed with Reynolds 531 tubing. It has quick release aluminum wheels with wide flange hubs, new tires, and Weinmann center pull brakes. Frame is in good condition. There is no rust, but paint is worn or chipped in areas due to normal use. See photos. Frame is 24 inches (61 cm.) measured from center of crank to top of seat post.
Crank and front chainwheels have been upgraded from original. Derailleurs have been replaced and gears shift perfectly.
Original Brooks leather seat has been replaced with a gel seat.
FYI- I still do ride. I do trail riding with a hybrid or mountain bike. This is a road bike and not suitable for trail riding. I have kept this bike just in case I got back to road riding, but that isn't going to happen. I am looking to downsize and everything extra has to go.
